Trips every Sunday, usually on the Boyne between Navan & Drogheda and when water levels are suitable we go to Wicklow and various other places. We also meet on Saturday and evenings in the summer months.
No, if you want to paddle with SBKC you must be a member, this is particularly for insurance purposes.

The annual membership cost at time of writing is €50 per person.
The only method of payment accepted is our on-line payments option, you can use PayPal or any major credit cards, WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH.
The membership term runs for a minimum of 12 months from August 1ST each year.

Every age.. from juniors who tend to come out during the summer months to middle aged and senior, we paddle all year round so there’s always plenty of trips to suit everyone. JUNIORS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ACCOMPANIED ON THE WATER BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
Disabled people are welcome to join and are subject to the club’s membership criteria including being able to swim for 20mtr in a river situation. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
All members of SBKC can receive regular text alerts for all club activities.
Beginner courses and training days can be provided all year round and club equipment is available on loan for new members ON A DEPOSIT BASIS, SBKC promote proficiency courses, from beginner to advanced.
No previous experience is not necessary, however you must be comfortable in water and able to swim at least 20 meter in a river situation.
Yes, there are kayaks and all required equipment etc SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY ON A DEPOSIT BASIS. Clothing is for summer use and is subject to availability. NEW MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN PERSONAL GEAR SUCH AS WET SUIT AND OTHER ITEMS.
